I really enjoyed learning about the Engage, Activate and Study phases of the ESA lesson plan. With this, teachers can stay focused on what approach they are delivering to the students, and ensure the students are always where they need to be in the area of learning. When the teacher sees that some students are getting behind, they can quickly backtrack just a little bit and refocus their attention on the students to help them all develop at the same time.This unit covered different techniques of evaluating and testing students. I learned from this unit the appropriate tests to be given to the students depending on what the teacher or school is looking for in the student. This is done to see the level that the student should be placed in and also could be used to see where there are weaknesses of the students during the year. Which would be an opportunity for the teacher to concentrate on those weak areas.
