I never realized that the English language has so many tenses. I have been studying Russian for the past couple years and I never fully appreciated their simple verb tenses. Of course the rest of the grammar can be quite complicated but English grammar can be as well. As a native speaker we did not focus so much the specifities of each verb tense - it's always just ccome natural. While going through some of the examples and comparing it to how I would talk myself, even I am very confused what sounds appropriate or not.Future simple is used to state future facts and certainties, promises, predictions, assumptions/speculations, spontaneous decisions, and threats. Future continuous is used to say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future, to 'predict the present' to say what we think or guess might be happening now, for polite inquiries referring to other people's plans, but not to influence the listener's intentions, to refer to future events which are fixed or decided. Future tenses have a lot of usages.
