This unit went through teaching special groups. I particularly found the information on teaching Young learners and Business learners very beneficial.
Remembering that Children have a shorter attention span than adults and look to the teacher for recognition and encouragement. These things change how a basic structure of a lesson needs to be and making sure that activities are varied but not too long.
With business learners remembering that you do not need to be an expert in business is key. Using internal relevant information/emails/faxes/handouts to engage these learners with information that is relevant to their individual roles.
Although this unit say that new teachers often find teachers beginners daunting, I am surprisingly excited for this type of lesson and am looking forward to potentially teaching students from the beginning of their English learning
