The final unit offers information and advice on how to find, apply and keep a teaching position. It starts from discussing cultural differences we might come across when teaching abroad. This is very important issue as students from different cultures can show different attitudes towards the teacher. All of them: body language, gestures, dress code, forms of greetings, use of first or last names can be problematic and cause some cultural misunderstanding in the class. Therefore, in order to avoid cultural gaffes, we should find out as much as possible about the country in which we are planning to teach. In the last chapter we can find many useful tips on how to write a good C.V/resume. We learn that the key is to be honest and keep it brief and relevant. Beyond that, the chapter provides us with many contacts that might be really helpful in our future career.
