This unit discussed equipment and teaching aids. It both listed and described the options that we will have as teachers. The lesson described the transition in technology that has taken place inside the classroom, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of many of them. Many need a bit of planning, practice, attention, and/or training prior to utilizing them in the classroom. The lesson closed with a listed of different resources that we can use for a multitude of reasons within the classroom.This unit has taught me the importance of a lesson plan. A lesson plan is not just a something to guide the teacher through a class, but it also serves as a planning aid and a record. It helps planning the class because it forces the teacher to write down student objectives and really consider the specific activities and means to reinforce the student objectives. A lesson plan also serves as a record, because years after a class, the teacher can go back and look at the details of a specific class.
