This unit content looked at the aspects of the present tense system. It looked at the 7 most common future tense such as future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, the present simple and present continuous. All seven of those future tense, this unit examined each of their structure, usage and teaching ideas on how to deliver it to students.
I learnt about the seven most common future tenses, how to identify and understand each of their sentence structure, usages and teaching ideas to incorporate in the lessons.This unit talked about classroom management strategies such as eye contact, gestures, voice and students' names. It also talked about classroom arrangement, pairwork, groupwork, classroom arrangement, and discipline. This was a great review for me. I especially liked the section on teacher talking time and giving instructions. I thought there were some great tips, such as saying a person's name after asking a question, rather than before. I also liked the tip on going in random order, rather than in the same order all the time. It keeps the students on their toes!
