Activities, which promote accuracy in speech, are guided by the teacher, and language is controlled by the teacher. Though, fluency activities promote students freely determining the output of the activities. Accuracy is generally the focus of the study phase, and the activate phase is used to help students become fluent in the use of the information gained in the study phase. A teacher should correct errors in the study phase, but when students are trying to explore their language capabilities, correction should be avoided.This unit covered the form and usage of future tenses as well as the common errors/mistakes students make and the various techniques utilized in teaching these tenses. As with the past and present tenses, the most valuable parts of the current unit are the teaching ideas. I found these various techniques to be clever, sure to engage students, and likely to be very effective in teaching the future tenses. I especially liked the example of having students try to \"get out of a date\" in teaching the future continuous tense.
