This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 13 talks about what is pronunciation and phonology. For these areas of language one has to keep in mind the intonation and stress of words. This was a very difficult unit because as I have mentioned before, as a native speaker of English, the language is spoken on a daily basis, but one does not consider how much English is difficult to pronounce when one considers the phonetic alphabet as well as the manner and articulation of the mouth and throat. After reading this unit, one can witness how many statements can have different meanings depending on the context as well as the tone of one's voice. Pronunciation is difficult, but I agree with the information that was stated at the end of the lesson, in which stated that teachers can not expect perfection from their students, but at least to be able to manage speaking English and be able to understand the language.
