This unit is shows how confusing learning English tenses will be for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) student. Unit 4 states the different tenses (past, present, and future) with four aspects to each one (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous). However, the confusion in teaching will arise when a teacher gets to the future tenses and tells the students that there are seven different usages adding in the \"going to\" future tense, and revisiting both present simple and continuous usages. The way this unit delineated each usage was very helpful. By using the formulas for the different forms and usages of will/shall, will be, will have, will have been; and what form of the verb to use, present/past participle, or base form; provided a clear picture and introduction to being able to teach this potentially highly confusing area of the English language.
