This unit is based on two ESA demonstration video lessons taught differently by the same teacher.
The teacher’s attitude towards the students in both lessons was quite different, as such the students participation was affected as well.
The teacher’s voice that is clarity, complexity and speed in the first lesson was poor as compared to the second lesson.
In terms of monitoring of the students the teacher poorly monitored the students in the first lesson as compared to the students in the second lesson.
The Engage, Study, and Activate phases of the first lesson was conducted inefficiently as compared to that in the second lesson.
Conclusively, what I have personally learnt from this unit is that; in the classroom the teacher’s attitude, behavior and teaching method does determine the students understanding, participation and behavior in the classroom.
