The productive skills are speaking and writing. While speaking and writing are substantially different in many ways, they both are used for the same purpose-to communicate.
For speaking, we have fluency activity and accuracy activity .Accuracy is more concentrate on producing correct language. Such activities are usually controlled to ensure accurate reproduction of language. Fluency activities more are more focus on allowing student to experiment and create the language. Accuracy and fluency are equally important. Accuracy based activities, Language is controlled by teachers. Fluency based on activities, the scenario is usually created by the teacher but the content of the language isn’t.
Writing context has quite a number of differences which separates it from speaking. Not only in grammar and vocabulary but also in spelling, handwriting, layout and punctuation.
