Both videos demonstrate the value of a teacher's attitude in influencing the success of a lesson upon a classroom. Whereas the teacher's attitude in the first video confused and prevented classroom participation in the first video, the second video demonstrated a teacher's success in managing a classroom, teaching a great lesson, and engaging the students. The second teacher successfully used a positive attitude, correct engagement of the students, and a proper lesson plan structure.After going through this unit, I feel that I better understand how much the physical classroom setup and presence of the teacher affect the effectiveness of lessons. It is important to keep in mind that the the classroom layout has to tailor to both the needs of the teacher and of the students, as well as be appropriate for the teacher's particular style of teaching. Effective classroom management also helps minimize the chance of disciplinary issues, adding the list of its benefits.
