Much like the present tense, the past tense has four aspects that coincide with their present counterparts. Much like the present perfect, the past perfect indicates an imprecise time, but the difference is that the present perfect implies that the action has some relationship to the present.This unit was about the importance of teaching receptive skills. Understanding the contents of a text or a dialogue is essential for language students' self-confidance and future motivation for learning. Like mentioned in the unit, reading and understanding is easier than listening and understanding, but still equally important. The methods explained in this unit are very essential for teaching the students to learn how to understand the contents of a particular text or a dialogue.
