This unit was focused on how to teach different groups of students and how their needs should be catered for. Young learners are a special group and there is an approach followed when conducting such lessons. This unit talks about the teacher's responsibilities when teaching such a class. Another special group is business English, this group has a different ways of teaching it. I learnt of how you shouldn't issue threats to young learners. The ESA teaching style can also be adopted when carrying out such special classes.Studying the four types of present tenses in unit 4 has been helpful in terms of understanding the differences between each one of them. It's always good to keep refreshing your mind when it comes to grammar.
Because of studying this I feel like I will be able to explain the differences better. Besides that I've learnt a few new teaching methods for this type of grammar. Specifically the ones for Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous because I think that the difference between those two is the hardest to grasp.
