This unit was very educational for me, even as a native English speaker. I can honestly say that I have a much deeper understanding of the different \"parts of speech\" For example, I have learned the difference between a transitive and intransitive verb, as well as the many other verb forms. Another example of what I learned is that a Gerund is a verb, used as a noun (subject). The content was clear, detailed and provided plenty of good examples for each section.After completing the present tense unit of this program, I felt that I had already had a reinforced understanding of the simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous forms of the tenses. Just as with the present tense unit, I had thought about how to convey these tenses to a younger audience who would be learning these concepts one day. It helped me remember that you do have to learn these concepts before they really start feeling second hand to your speech.
