This unit was interesting. Learning the phonemic symbols were a challenge. It looks easy but, it wasn't. Also, stress was little difficult too because I speak multiple languages so, my intonation is good but not prefect and often times is due to putting correct stress to a word.
Reading phonetic script and choosing the best answer was pretty challenging for me. But at the same time, I enjoyed reading the phonetic script. It made me feel like I'm going back to pre-school for a moment.There is no real limit pattern for teaching a new language. However, a \"straight arrow\" structured ESD is usually used to teach vocabulary and grammar while a boomerang or patchwork structured is used to teach language function. When teaching vocabulary and grammar, the teacher needs to bear in my what the students want to know about the new vocabulary and grammar. By this, the teachers can inspire the students' learning motivations and so improve the teaching and learning process.
