I have learned a lot this unit. There are different methodologies used in teaching, dating back from the 1700 till today. Each methodology was founded on a theory and has its pluses and minuses. The most recent methodology is the ESA created by Jeremy Harmer. This methodology actually works in the classroom and for all different levels of learners. I have also learned much about the correction techniques that should be followed by the teacher.This grammar lesson talks about modal auxilary verbs and the different ideas which they express. The unit also explains the passive voice, how it is formed in the various tenses and it's usage. The lesson concludes by explaining relative clauses and phrasal verbs, giving types and examples of both. In this unit i have learnt how to explain and to form the passive voice and how to distinguish between defining and non defining relative clauses.
