This unit was mostly general information regarding aids. While the actual coursebook had plenty of information, it was all fairly standard. The information does seem a bit dated though since I don't imagine that many schools would still utilize an overhead projector, or a physical cassette player, or cassettes. The information towards the end of the course related to obtaining resources is very helpful though. Its important that we keep the students attention and use the best aids possible.Evaluation and testing. This part has given me useful information about what tests to use and when to use them as well as informative information about external testing. This can be very helpful firstly when gauging the level of the students at different points in time but also to help those students who wish to progress further in their english language study. It is also very interesting fo me personally to get to understand the different kinds of tests that are available around the world.
