What a refresher Unit...it's so easy to forget tenses when speaking comes so naturally! The unit has described the different Present tenses, their usages and what Activate activities would be ideal for the students to practice on. But first, I have to have a better grasp at it; otherwise, how can I explain why errors were made, and how to correct them? I have no confidence in teaching these lessons at this stage, but am counting on future courses to help me understand better.This was quite difficult. I can clearly see the difference between the 2 videos but trying to determine the order in which lesson 2 carried out is not as easy as I thought! It's a real eye opener to see how much the teachers attitude can impact the learning outcomes and motivation of the students. The main take away I have is about the tone of voice and being engaged as the teacher. If the teacher is engaged there is a much better chance that the students will be engaged.
