In this unit I learned more about conditional tense. I learned that sentences containing if or when always refer to past. They are two clauses, the 'if' clause and the main clause, and either can come in the first part of a conditional sentence. They are five main conditionals: zero, first, second, third, and mixed. The teaching ideas page was great as it had many exercises to do in class with the students. I have also learned what reported and direct speeches are.This unit looks at modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. First we go into modal auxiliary verbs, their basic rules, how they express, some clear examples and some teaching ideas. We then moved on to look at the passive voice, its forms, its usage, typical mistakes and teaching ideas. We then briefly went over relative clauses, the three categories and examples. Lastly we looked at phrasal verbs, the three types and how teachers can introduce them to classrooms.
