In this unit I learned about the future tenses, this is the last unit on the 3 tenses. There are 7 total future tenses, three more than the other two tenses. They in include the Future Simple, Future Continuous, Future Perfect, Future Perfect Continuous, 'Be Going' + Infinitive and the two present tenses that can be used in a future sense, the Present Simple and Present Continuous. The Form, usage, common student mistakes and ways to teach each tense was discussed.A teacher's attitude, presentation and manner in the classroom is just as important as the content of the lesson. A good teaching style (along with the lesson plan) encourages student participation and understanding. The teacher needs to engage with the students and encourage them towards the material. Gestures, response drills, and the blackboard/visuals are useful teaching tools for the successful classroom. Attitude, presentation and manner is just as important.
