The unit talks about the advantages of using the appropriate teaching aids and equipment during an EFL lesson in the classroom. It also discusses the functions of certain equipment and teaching aids such as OHP, video camera, cassette player, worksheets, dictionaries and others. The effective use of these teaching aids can really play a big role in the success of a lesson's objective and improvement of students' motivation as the lessons itself becomes less boring.It was very interesting to learn about the different equipment/resources that teachers and students can use in the classroom. Some of them I haven't thought of before, such as using computers or overhead projectors. I think some of the options would be more likely to be used in the classroom such as photocopies, boards, a CD player, visual aids, and worksheets. It was nice to learn about the different equipment and how they could also be useful in an EFL classroom.
