This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In unit 12, I learned about teaching productive skills. I learned the difference between accuracy and fluency activities, the different types of speaking activities in the classroom, encouraging students to speak, about free/creative speaking activities, about handwriting, about spelling, about layout and punctuation, and about games in the classroom. After reviewing this unit, I have a better understanding of productive skills and how to teach them in a classroom.Unit 13 is about the teaching pronunciation and phonology of the English language to non-native English speakers. It teaches about the importance of intonation and stress while speaking. It also talks about the phonetic language and it's system and the organs that produce sound in the human body. I learned from this lesson a new type of game with the \"pure noise\" and the student or teacher says this pure noise and the students have to guess or convey the emotion.
