Teaching aids and specific equipment within the classroom was the context for this unit 17. The 15 recommended items were a good refresher for me, as I use many of these in my classroom on a regular basis. The task sheet question which asked which five items would I deem as most important was an excellent tool for me to contemplate as I may find myself in a classroom setting that does not have access to all of the unit listed items. The five that I found most valuable thus far in my teaching experiences would be the following: IWB, the whiteboard, computers (with access to online resources), photocopier and visual camera (or smart device such as an iphone). Although it was difficult to select only five, these particular items seemed most beneficial in assisting me to be a productive, efficient teacher as well as motivation, resourceful and attention holding for students.
