The unit is all about what kind of equipments and teaching aids can be used in teaching. There are number of teaching aids can be used to make lessons interesting, attractive and effective. The most common resources are white/ black board, interactive white board, overhead projector, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorder, CD player, video camera and etc.
There are given useful links of different websites which TEFL teacher can use as resources.Following receptive learning skills, this unit focused on productive (speaking and writing) learning skills. The profound differences between the two are discussed, with writing being more difficult in that it requires more accuracy, but speaking being the one that requires more overall fluency. From this unit I learned the importance of balancing the two (avoiding too much \"quiet time\" with writing, while also not exclusively focusing on speaking) in a lesson.
