In this unit I found that the difference between present/future modals and past modals may be a difficult thing for students to understand. I will make a note to make use my teaching tools such as games to really drill this into my students. An activity I thought of while reading was using example sentences to help students figure out what form to use. For example, I would teach my students the sentence, \"I should do well on the test because I studied.\" Students then can use that sentence as the 'standard' (for 'should') to hold other sentences against. I would test my students on \"I should be in good health because I exercise 5 days a week\" vs \"I can be in good health because I exercise 5 days a week.\" Because the standard sentence shows a 90% certainty, the sentence I am testing my students on is very similar. Thus students would use \"should\" instead of \"can.\
