One of the important part of teaching is creating proper lesson plan. The purpose of this lesson was to show one model that can be used to create a clear lesson plan. I don't agree with those who claim lesson plans reduce flexibility. I believe a well-planned lesson pan can enhance teaching and create logical sequence for the lesson. Also it help a lot if some other teacher else needs to cover our class in terms of emergencies.
I learned that a good lesson plan consist of the following;
General information about the teacher and class such as date, teacher name, expected number of students, class level ,etc.
Objectives, anticipated problems and solution for both learners and teachers.
Procedure, Phase, Timing and interactions
It is also highlighted that teachers need to monitor their lesson plan and if it was appropriate after delivering it to class and try to enhance it.
