This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson covered the last portion of English grammar and primarily focused on modals and passive voice. I have studied modals and passive voice before, so I was pretty well versed in that area. I knew less about phrasal verbs and so I had some trouble distinguishing between the different types. I will most likely have to review these topics before teaching them. The passive voice verb form chart was really helpful and will be something that I keep for when I am teaching the passive voice. In this unit we look at different ways of evaluating students level and progress. We learn the 3 different ways to assess a student language level, tutorial, evaluation by the students and test. This enables the teachers to place students accordingly to their language ability. We can take individual students or with the whole group discussing the aims of lesson and discussing if there are any problems secondly evaluation by students can be very useful by means of discussions or questionnaire.
