Unit 10 presented two lessons based upon the same learning objective, but carried out very differently. The first video presented an English teacher who was dismissive and intimidating. He told his students the lesson should be easy for them, did not clearly answer questions, and did not give explanations of the lesson's objective or clear instructions for the activities. There was very little participation. The second video presented the same English teacher, but he was cheerful during the entire lesson. He began with introductions and engaged the class throughout the lesson by asking clear questions, presenting visuals, and miming. He gave clear instructions and did not hesitate to answer questions. I found the video lessons to be very effective because they gave me the opportunity to view a real English classroom and the actions and reactions of the teacher and students.
