This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 16 is about conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are categorized as zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. They can be confusing sometimes as to the usage and forms or structures. The second part is about reported speech which can be either direct or indirect. The two also can be confusing but this unit explains simply and precisely. I think I can make use of this in my class. By the way, most of the points mentioned about students mistakes are true based on my experience. This unit reflects my own experience with language and learning. I studied french in college, and in order not to loose it, I began reading books in french. Though challenging at first, I found myself automatically going through the process of deducing unfamiliar vocabulary and structure from the context. As I moved from book to book, for example, from a Harry Potter to \"Pride and Prejudice\", my familiarity with vocabulary and grammatical construction improved significantly and continues to do so.
