This unit discussed the two receptive skills of listening and reading. It explained the reasons why people read as well as the ways they read for acquiring information. Listening can be more difficult than reading because you don't have the privilege of seeing it on paper or of reading it multiple times for understanding. Teachers will do well to help students learn some of the important vocabulary before listening, as well as choosing topics that will be of interest to the learners.This unit mainly talks about the twelve tenses and their different usages. This unit explains present simple,present continuous, present perfect present perfect continuous. The typical mistakes/ errors and the sample activate stage teaching ideas are very useful for me.It's easy for me to predict students' mistakes and it gives me some good ideas of activities for my classes. Eg: find someone who...activities in which students have to interview one another in order to complete forms.
