In this lesson, I have learned about how to teach new language through its vocabulary, grammars and functions. Each student has his or her own level of ability to absorb new language, so I have learnt about the key factors that create such level of difficulty. I also learnt about the phases of teaching new vocabulary and what are possible activities in class that will make the students be able to understand, be familiar with new words and how they are used in sentences grammatically correct.Receptive skills, reading and listening, are important. Reading can be different - for purpose and for pleasure. there are also different reading skills, for example, scanning and skimming, deduction from context and prediction from the headline. Listening is more difficult for the students because they are not tuned up to different accents and it's hard for them to understand a fluent speech of a native speaker at first. The teacher should speak at appropriate tempo and with a clear accent.
