As with unit four, unit 6 breaks down (past) tenses into 4 categories; past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Although I feel these past tenses do not seem to contain as many rules and guidelines as the present tenses, there is potentially a lot of errors that could arise from verbs with irregular past forms.
Additionally the past perfect continuous, being the least used of the four past tenses, contains the highest probably for student errors.it's extremely imported know what it is and how to explain to students the difference between modals verbs and phrasal verbs.
We use phrasal verbs every time to make the conversation easier, and most of the students don't know what is and how to use, the same thing with modals verbs we use every time to make questions, to request something to give advice to somebody.
In this unit, I could understand perfectly the differences and how to make my students learn and use correctly .
