Assessment affects many facets of education, including student grades, placement, and advancement as well as curriculum, instructional needs, and school funding.Unit 14 touched on especially vital parts to a teacher's lesson planning and teaching methods: the use of course books and types of lesson materials. It explained the two types of lesson materials, which include authentic materials and created materials. After discussing the benefits of both materials, it also gave specific examples of the two. Finally, the unit covered the advantages and disadvantages of using course books and how to analyze and use them properly.
