Lesson planning does not have a strict or rigid structure - it will take experience as a teacher and figuring out one's teaching style to design strong lesson plans for the students. When designing a lesson plan, teachers may want to include both their learners objectives and their own personal aims. Additionally, writing down the language point, anticipated problems and solutions, and procedures/activities can be helpful. Lesson plans create a record for the teacher, a long term plan for the students, and a reference document during the lesson itself - In other words, it's strongly recommended not to just wing it. Using engage, study, and activate phases, teachers can guide the class in a way that keeps them interested should also introducing new information.
