I found the breakdown of methodologies very interesting. It was fascinating to look at the acquisition of language in a different manner from the usual philosophies taught in the basic foundations of education like Piaget, Bloom's taxonomy, Gagne or Bronwell. Your selection was much more practical. I particularly liked the ESA structure definition. While I have used this method in an informal way, the actual naming of activities will help me add structure to the thought process when formulating lesson plans.Learning helpful techniques, as well as the phonetic script, will be very helpful when teaching. I intend to teach students using visuals of my mouth to help students understand how to pronounce the differences in sound. In Japan, my Japanese friends were confused on how to make the \"R\" and \"L\" sound differently. When I could show the the different tongue placements, they were able to pronounce them correctly. Doing this and tongue twisters and similar things will be very helpful for learners of English.
