In this lesson I learned the difference between zero conditional, first conditions, second conditional, third conditional, and mixed conditional. I also learned when to use each one appropriately in a sentence. Furthermore, I learned what direct speech and reported speech were. There were a lot of different teaching methods incorporated in this lesson to assist with students gaining the practice they need in order to know when to use different conditionals.That unit was quite difficult but nevertheless interesting for me. Teaching pronunciation and phonology plays a key role in helping students to speak and comprehend text. It help the students to map sounds onto spellings and spellings onto sounds, thus enabling them to decode or produce words. That helps to improve comprehension because students are no longer struggling with decoding or producing words, they can concentrate on meaning of the text or speech.
