This is an important lesson on tenses. Knowing how to help students understand when something happened is vitally important to better communicate with others. I learned a lot from this lesson, it is set up a little bit different than I have learned before and I can see that I have a lot of work to do in using this method. I see the importance of this way of looking at the tenses though. I really enjoyed how the text gave examples of how students have misused the tenses and how we can help them use them right.This unit explains which methods and techniques are the best for students of English to learn the language in the most efficient way. It further explains the choice of teaching methods and techniques depends on teacher's personality, students' cultural background and needs. In this unit we can read about the structure of an English lesson based on ESA technique and later find out what characteristics each stage of ESA lesson should have. Finally, the unit explains when and how teacher should correct students.
