It is important for teacher's to understand what is the motivation behind their students want to learn English. With children, it is likely their parents are making the choice for them therefore the student may have less drive to engage in lessons. However, students in younger age ranges have an easier time tackling a new language at all. No matter which age group is being taught, adapting to their skills and desires are valuable in successfully teaching.This was a good lesson to help demonstrate some of the potential issues that may arise when teaching in a classroom. It was interesting to see that many of the issues had already been covered in previous units so it was a good way to refresh myself on some of the previous content I had studied. I am sure there are many more issues that may arise above the ones listed in this unit but I feel this unit gives a good overview of them and how to overcome them.
