Course books are a very emotive issue for most teachers.
Almost every published book has it's own lovers and haters. In an ideal school, you would have all the books and teaching material available, but that's not the reality.
Very often, the teacher is the one who prepares all the teaching materials for his/her students, and for many students, this is better option. Students find that materials more interesting and more relevant.In this unit I learned how to create straight arrow and boomerang lessons. These are helpful for my online ESL lessons because students all react differently to different styles of teaching. Understanding what activities to implement for vocabulary and grammar is crucial to adequately ascertaining information about a new language. At times hearing the differences in grammar is important more than seeing it. These different phases will help students recall the information learned.
