In this unit I learned about phonetics, articulation, and stress in sentences. Each of these topics can be very difficult to explain to students but with the visuals and practices I better understand how to teach it. I learned that most sentences have a rise/fall stress in English but different stresses can imply different meanings. I also learned about the different organs involved in articulating specific sounds. Finally I learned how to read phonetics in order to properly pronounce a word.All these tests except the general external examinations are somehow being practiced in my school so I am glad that I am reminded and taught again on how to properly use them. I am also happy to come across with this general external examination because I've learned what kinds and what tests are these for. I knew some of them like the TOEFL IELTS, TOEIC but the other kinds of tests mentioned is actually my first time to encounter them. Thank you so much for learning these tests terminologies.
