In my point of view, completing this unit is worth doing as it helps me know specifically how to teach receptive skills in language teaching. Through I have prior knowledge of teaching receptive skills, but I have accomplished some more teaching ideas to get in touch with the students and the lessons. As both reading and listening are essential to develop productive skills, there must be more creative techniques of teaching receptive skills.I learned that it is important to be using all levels of ESA. I also did not know that you were not supposed to correct students during the engagement, so that was important for me to learn so I don't do that in my future teachings. I loved all the examples of games/activities and how you can incorporate that into learning English. I had heard of most of the games, but didn't think of how to use them in the classroom as an educational game.
