This unit covers conditionals and reported speech. Even as a native speaker, I did not realize all of the different ways English speakers use to convey the same meaning since it is done without thought. This unit was difficult because I did not realize there was an actual structure to it. However, this is important for non-native English speakers to learn, since this is used quite often, so this is a unit that needs to be taught in a slow and thoughtful manner.In this unit, we continue the learning of the tenses and the past tenses are elaborated detailedly. To be specific, there are in total four past tense in English grammar, namely, the simple past, the past perfect, the past continuous and the past perfcet continuous, each indicating different states or actions described in the past in English. The course clearly illustrates how the tenses are formed and when to use them with abundant and comprehensible examples.
