This unit goes over evaluation of students with regards to their progress and levels. The ways we can determine is by tutorials, evaluation of tests and tests. We can start by having the students take a placement test to determine exactly what level the student is so we can progress the language further and then throughout the year we can do diagnostic measurements. Also in order to make sure the student is grasping the language we can make practice test.Unit 14 about books and materials helped map out the use, advantages and disadvantages to using course books and materials. The unit separated and defined authentic materials to created materials and examples of each. The unit provided a sample picture story to better clarify the look of created material lessons.
One of the most important things the unit taught was how to analyze a course book and what to look for that will benefit you as a teacher more.
