This unit discussed the receptive skills, reading and listening. It talked about which different skills were important to learn for students to become successful at reading and listening (scanning, predicting etc.). It then explained some general ideas to keep in mind when trying to teach these skills, especially as it pertained to selecting materials. The unit also gave some ideas about useful activities to practice and test reading skills, and placed them in the context of ESA lesson plans.This unit tells the most common structures of the future tenses, which are the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going to, present simple, and present continuous. Although the present simple and present continuous are used in the present tense, they also can be applied to the future tense. I have learnt the different forms and usages of the future tense and I also have learnt how to effectively teach the tenses by using different teaching ideas.
