This unit identified basic grammar rules and sentence structures including the different parts of speech used in the English language. The parts of speech such as nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, and articles were further broken down into their respective various usages. I found that although many rules exist for constructing grammatically correct sentences and words, there are also many irregular parts of speech that require a lot of memorization and that are not intuitive for non-native English speakers.There are many tenses in the English language. This unit is focused on future forms. The future tenses include; future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, and going to future. The least often used structure in the future perfect continuous, which describes how long an action will have been taking place until a certain time. There are a lot of engaging way to get students to learn this lesson. A popular option would be to pair students and have them chose a day to meet, based on what events are in their planners.
