This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Interesting information about using a coursebook, versus implementing other options, such as authentic materials, like using information found in music, newspapers, menus, films, and using created materials, such as items like crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, picture puzzles, role-play cards, etc. I personally like the example the unit suggests, which is to use a bit from each, and not too heavily one or the other to ensure I'm meeting the needs of all my students. In this unit, I learned about the past tenses and their uses. For example, Past simple, which is used simply for events that have been completed in the past. Then past continuous, used for actions started in the past that are still ongoing. Past perfect which is for is for a completed action in an specified time. this will usually use the word \"has\" or \"had\", and finally Past Perfect Continuous which is for actions the had began in the past before another past action.
