This final unit on troubleshooting is as important as the first unit on what makes a good teacher. There are always going to be challenges in the classroom, and having the confidence and skills necessary to overcome them is essential. Many may seem very obvious, but when you are teaching a number of different types of groups or levels or have very culturally sensitive issues, it is wise to know how to respond to problems within the classroom.In this unit it breaks down teaching language into three area: vocabulary, grammar and function. This unit also goes into specifics of what a student needs to know with in each of the three categories as well as common ESA teaching methods that are usually used. Of course the ESA methods were just suggested not required. Examples were also given of an ESA teaching lesson for each area as well as what techniques cooled be used in each stage.
