Unit 11 was very interesting when thinking about the importance of reading and listening skills that our English Additional Language Learners are building. I think the biography activity where students study famous actors or musicians to learn vocal while making content relevant was really cool and would be very engaging. Constructing solid skills in reading an listening are so important for daily tasks so we want our students to have a strong understanding.In this unit i have learnt different types of theories, techniques and methods of language teaching. In grammar teaching and translation what i understood was that, the best way to help language learners is learning about their language and finding equivalents in the students own language and the foreign language being learnt. This unit was about strategies to apply in the classroom or with student to enhance their understanding and support their learning.
