This unit taught me many useful class management techniques. These techniques are helpful when organizing a class meant to inform students and increase quality participation. This unit also warns about the issues that any teacher might face in class any time. I would like to see more specific examples, i.e. which seating model and class dynamic is best suitable for kindergarten age children. However, I believe that's a different type of a ITTTL course. I like how this unit pointed out things I should be cautious and self-aware about as a teacher.Classroom management can make or break a positive and successful teaching career. Classroom management is especially critical to the results of an ESL structured classroom. For example, the seating arrangement of a classroom consisting of extroverted and confident students should differ from a classroom that contains mostly shy or insecure learners. Other examples of classroom management include the teacher's use of gestures, tone, volume and eye contact. The nationality of a classroom will greatly impact how teachers should engage with students.
